JOB DESCRIPTION

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is looking for a Digital Email Designer for the Pottery Barn brand. This role will create and work on digital creative updates as well as design digital and marketing assets as part of the Digital Creative Team.

ABOUT THE DIGITAL CREATIVE TEAM

The Digital Creative Team is comprised of talented digital marketing designers and production artists. We work closely with our copy counterparts to make our catalogs, emails and digital assets come alive with the Pottery Barn voice. We also collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in eComm, Front End, Brand Marketing, Photo Studio and PR to name a few! We are all about sharing creative ideas and supporting each other to not only do our best work, but also to build a strong sense of family and community. Come join us!

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...

* Support the Sr. Designer and Creative Manager to create seasonal and weekly digital marketing assets for emails.
* Design original web pages and features--take projects from concept to completion while working within the parameters of the brand style guide.
* Support Sr. Email Designers with marketing and social campaigns.
* Assist with a variety of email campaigns and templates, including: content, promotional, retail, and dynamically driven campaigns.
* Collaborate with and support design team members on Pottery Barn's Digital Creative Teams.
* Coordinate and support up-to-date creative designs across of US and Global emails.
* Present designs for approvals and feedback to senior level.
* Maintain design and creative deliverables to schedule, including content, promotional, retail, and dynamically driven campaigns.
* Maintain and evolve process as business and creative needs change.
* Continually drive and evolve brand standards for the design of website, emails and marketing assets.
* Manage workflow to meet business and creative deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We're excited about you because...

* You have a Bachelor's degree
* You have 2 years of digital design experience, preferably in retail brands
* You are extremely proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
* You have experience with web-based Content Management Systems
* You have high proficiency in Mac OSX (connecting servers, organizing files and sharing documents)
* Experience working cross-functionally across many teams and departments
* You juggle and prioritize multiple competing tasks
* You have outstanding communication skills
* You have meticulous attention to detail and work well within tight deadlines
