Senior Manager, Brand Creative -- Mark and Graham About the Team: Launched in 2012, Mark and Graham offers colorful and timeless gifts and accessories, personalized with your choice of over 50 unique monograms and type treatments. Position Summary: Mark and Graham seeks a Senior Manager, Brand Creative to join our team and lead the creative vision for all creative design and photography for our website, e-marketing, digital and catalog. Reporting to the VP, Mark and Graham, the ideal candidate will possess the technical capabilities and savvy to support and influence Mark and Graham's creative strategy and will help us create a look and feel for our catalog, website and marketing materials that will inspire our customers and tell our compelling stories. You're excited about this opportunity because you will.... Set, maintain and drive the brand standard for all creative deliverables working in collabortation with the VP, Mark and Graham.. Take initiative in generating ideas and suggestions for solutions for creative design and strategies to enhance the customer experience.. Work with copywriter and VP to set editorial copy tone and brand messaging.. Lead the creative vision and photography concepting for the season from the overall aesthetic look and feel down to the details.. Create sketches. Produce sketches, story boards and art layouts for creative meetings and communicate creative vision to the team.. Pull inspiration images and ideas to build creative briefs and/or art direction packet.. Oversee a large rotating group of freelance photographers and stylists and communicate seasonal vision and details to them.. Art direction on photo set.. Coach and lead a team of designers to create engaging visual designs for our site, e-marketing, digital and mobile applications.. Manage the creative design team and the design and development of our website to continually evolve our current eCommerce site.. Oversee design and layout of email for internall proofing.. Partner with merchandising to deliver compelling merchandising content to achieve business goals.. Traffic all marketing creative to internal and crossbrand teams for approval.. Oversee the eCommerce design, performance and process of the designers to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.. Answer digital design questions, facilitate decisions, share opinions and perspectives, and suggest new and innovative ideas for the team and other business groups. This includes having an understanding of and vision for the short and long-term business.. Manage multiple projects, timelines and logistics for both individual contributions and those of the eCommerce team.. Stay current on design, technology and market developments, and bring new knowledge to Williams-Sonoma, Inc.. Anticipate grown and responsibility increases as the business continues to develop in regard to project breadth and quantity.. Manage and maintain team budget. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We're excited about you because you have.... 10+ years of experience designing, creating, and producing multimedia experiences for the web and mobile applications.. BA/BS in related field of study. Masters degree a plus.. Deep understanding and experience with eCommerce, and designing for its corresponding success drivers (eg SEO, conversion rates, bounce rates, etc.) Strong interest in and knowledge of mobile platforms is preferred.. Must have an in-depth knowledge of standard digital design applications such as Adobe Creative Suite. Fluent in image optimization techniques, web/mobile design fundamentals.. Extensive digital/eCommerce experience; able to show depth of experience in layout, typography, design, and flow.. Detail oriented with a proven track record for producing consistent, clean graphics and layouts for catalog print, web and mobile applications.. Exceptional communicator who leads and contributes to technical discussions, and can translate technical issues and considerations clearly. Demonstrated broad knowledge of direct-to-consumer customer contact and eCommerce business processes.. Strong business and operational senses; able to balance and address conflicting needs and timelines of multiple stakeholders.. Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills..
