Summary:

We are seeking a UX Design Summer Intern to join our fast-paced, growing User Experience team. You will be a vital part of transforming our innovative technologies into new product lines, redefining the online shopping experience for our customers, and building a design culture across our organization's functional teams.

As a UX Intern, you will:

* Collaborate with product managers, engineers, creatives, and production artists on diverse projects to understand business requirements and generate the overall user experience solution.
* Produce UX deliverables related to user research, market research, design, and usability testing.
* Support engineering and QA during development and launch.
* Advocate UX strategy to achieve product/organization objectives.
* Uphold the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We will like to meet you because...

* You are currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in a discipline related to Visual Communications, Human-Computer Interaction
* You are on track to graduate with your bachelor's degree between Dec 2020 and June 30, 2022
* You have a link to your UX portfolio with thoughtful UX cases included on your resume/cv
* You have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0+/4.0
* You provided a cover letter with your application (required)
* You are currently studying Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related field
* You've completed UX design experience in complex software design projects and online tools
* You have completed projects using Sketch and InVision
* You have an understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
* You have a desire to work in eCommerce, AR/VR or a related field
* You have strong communication and presentation skills

Internship duration (start & end date):

* June 2, 2020 -- Aug 20, 2020 (10 to 12-weeks max)
* Paid internship. Non-Exempt. Hourly
