The Regional Sales Director is an exciting, field-based role responsible for the leadership, success and development of buy and bill sales representatives within regional geography and achieving sales objective at regional level. The focus of this role includes building, leading and coaching the assigned sales team for success, developing and implementing sales plans, establishing and meeting customer needs, managing business operations (policies/procedures, budgets, sales and account data, etc.) and fostering team development.

Candidates must be located in the Midwest: Iowa, St. Louis, Kansas City

Responsibilities:

Lead and coach a team to set, evaluate and exceed performance expectations.
As needed, recruit talented sales professionals through targeted recruitment, selection and assessment strategies and execution.
Cultivate relationships within field team, internal partners, key stakeholders & customers.
Foster a culture of compliance, integrity and transparency and work to infuse those qualities across the field and organization.
Utilize knowledge of reimbursement landscape and access. Experience with specialty pharmacy providers and a strong understanding of the reimbursement of specialty products (especially buy & bill and assignment of benefits)
Employing strong organizational and analytical skills is required, including the ability to analyze complex data to develop strategic and actionable business plans to deliver sales results.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree
Candidates must be located in the Midwest
5+ years of sales management level experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device.
Proven successful track record of consistent management of high performing teams
Strong understanding of the reimbursement landscape and managed markets pull through expertise.
Well versed in complex sales environment/total-office call selling
Ability to travel at least 75%.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in infusible or injectable products, in osteoarthritis or pain.
Previous experience with buy and bill specialty injectables.
MBA preferred
Demonstrated business/strategic planning and launch experience
