Job Summary

Interact with current and potential customers to provide a timely response to inquiries, quotes, orders and issues regarding products and services. Work closely with departmental teams, such as sales, production and engineering, to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold the integrity of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to requests (inquires, quotes, orders, issues) with prompt communication via phone, email, mail
  • Record concise and accurate details for each request in company database (CRM)
  • Analyze requests for response, and/or forward to appropriate company respondent
  • Prepare quotes and process orders, returns and replacements using appropriate processes and procedures
  • Assist on the followup of open quotes to convert to sales
  • Work proactively with departmental teams as needed to fulfill customer requests
  • Conduct followup on requests, make data adjustments, and inform appropriate team members Coordinate customer account set-up and handle credit card payments
  • Provide information on product line and services, pricing, delivery, and drop ships
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist in generating prospective customer leads
  • Participate in departmental tasks and projects as assigned

Required Education/Experience/Skills

  • 2 year college degree or equivalent higher education academic hours required
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills to work well with internal and external customers
  • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM Database
  • Attention to detail with project management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers
  • Problem solving ability to handle comprehensive issues
  • Team player who takes initiative in responding to requests and projects
