To support our rapid growth, we are hiring a Lead User Experience Designer to help us develop a best-in-class user experience for our ProShop product. In this role, you will help us shape the vision for this fledgling platform positioned to transform the B2B printing industry. You will be part of a cross-functional team who are passionate and dedicated as well as fun and fast-moving.

Your day-to-day:

  • Work with cross-functional product teams to define priorities and design approaches that solve customer problems
  • Prototype user experiences and perform usability tests to turn your concepts into real experiences based on user feedback
  • Create high-fidelity visual designs
  • Design experiences that address the needs of multiple user types and communicate your solutions in the manner and method most appropriate for the situation
  • Conducting in-depth interviews, surveys and user testing to aid platform improvements and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and present actionable research findings to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Proactive identification of ideas to improve the customer experience
  • Partner closely with a small team of Product Managers to plan work to be done, advocate for design
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure ProShop designs reflect our brand
  • Provide design feedback and guidance to engineers to ensure the visual design and interaction executions strike the right balance between the vision and technical feasibility

What we expect from you:

  • You are the kind of person others seek out for their projects - you are collaborative and can simplify the complex both in your designs and how you explain them to others
  • Experience working as part of a cross-functional team where everyone pitches in as needed - big egos and lone wolves need not apply
  • Experience creating interaction designs for fully responsive websites and applications and a familiarity with best practices that you can champion through crisp and clear communication with stakeholders
  • You understand what it means to work in an agile development environment and will determine the best way to integrate user experience design into that environment.
  • You will apply your expertise to help your cross-functional peers build processes that boost productivity and good communication practices at scale
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and will always jump in with both feet when something new comes up. You also have sound business sense and understand when priorities must shift away from one project to another
  • Experience with design programs (Adobe suite, Sketch, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Front End web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)
  • Comfortable working with remote teams; able to work and communicate effectively across cultures and time zones
  • Broad knowledge across disciplines (visual design, information architecture, usability, etc.) with advanced skills in some areas that you want to showcase
  • A strong desire to grow your career in UX or Product Design - this is not a Product Manager role
  • Portfolio required
