Provides data analysissupport for the Cloud Economics function within the TOS Finance group.Responsible for the analysis of historical and current cloud (on-prem andoff-prem) spend, identification of trends and patterns in usage and spend andutilization, development around cloud spend controls and recommendations aroundoptimization of cloud usage and spend.- This role will beinvolved in the creation of data aggregation through the development of datacollection architecture, datastores and automation needed to support the dataaggregation across multiple cloud technologies.- This role will beresponsible for the creation of data visulaization providing users andmanagement views into the cloud spend environment. -- This role will beresponsible for the creation of cloud spend and utilization reports andcontrols and interfacing with the responsible parties to explain and report tomanagement the spend and controls activity.- This role will providesupport to the Cloud Financial Operations team in creation of cost models andcost optimization.- This role will utilizecloud spend and usage data to build Total Cost of Operation analysis andprovide input into pricing future cloud initiatives.*Qualifications:*Basic Qualifications*- Eight or more years of experience in systems software and programming environment*Preferred Skills:*- Knowledge of off-premcloud technologies in use by US Bank especially Amazon Web Services, GoogleCloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.- Familiarity with thePython programming language and the ability to automate collection of datathrough vendor APIs.- Familiarity with datavisualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.- Ability to providedata analysis to varying level of users within the organization.- Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills.*Job:* Information Technology*Primary Location:* United States*Shift:* 1st - Daytime*Average Hours Per Week:* 40*Requisition ID:* 200017694U.S. Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.U.S. Bank is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
