Job Summary

We are seeking a Boiler Maintenance Technician for our Biologics Testing Solutions site located in Wayne, PA.

The Boiler Maintenance Technician will be expected to operate, repair, maintain and adjust boilers, pumps, compressors,

water lines, steam lines, valves and all related systems and equipment. Perform a variety of master level mechanical and

pressure/temperature and refrigeration equipment repair and maintenance requiring close interface with other trade/craft

functions. Perform other semi-skilled tasks in the general maintenance of the physical plant and provide work direction

to others performing HVACR related work.

The following are responsibilities related to the Boiler Maintenance Technician position:

• Manage service contracts for all building mechanicals to include chillier, cooling tower, HVAC to include all steam lines and Siemens controls,

air/vacuum systems and generators.

• Daily walk through of the facility infrastructure to include but not limited to mechanical rooms, boiler room and second floor mechanical

mezzanine. To include rooftop mechanical areas.

• Infrastructure and facility PM program to include performing regularly scheduled minor facility equipment maintenance Infrastructure

equipment includes: steam generation and chilled water systems, vacuum, air, cooling tower, condensate reclaim system, water

softener, HVAC, Fire Protection, domestic water.

• Responsible for Preventative, Predictive and Corrective maintenance as outlined in above Scope.

The following are the minimum requirements related to the Boiler Maintenance Technician:

Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) and trade school diploma.

Experience: Four to six years related experience. An equivalent combination of education and

experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

Certification/Licensure: Valid Boiler Operator License (where required by state).
