Position Overview:
As a key member of our vascular surgery team, you will provide comprehensive vascular care, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary network of healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating a broad spectrum of vascular diseases, including preoperative assessment and post-operative follow-up. The role involves participation in both outpatient and inpatient care, utilizing advanced surgical techniques and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert vascular surgical care, including both open and endovascular procedures.
- Collaborate with a team of vascular surgeons and physician assistants to deliver coordinated, patient-centered services.
- Utilize the dedicated hybrid operating room with block time for complex cases.
- Coordinate with Full time vascular technicians to optimize diagnostic and procedural support.
- Maintain documentation within the EPIC EMR system, ensuring accurate and timely patient records.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and tumor boards as required.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the education and mentorship of residents and other team members.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Colorado.
- Proven experience in vascular surgery procedures.
- Strong commitment to patient safety, quality care, and teamwork.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
- No visa sponsorship available; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Not accepting new graduates; requires at least some post-residency experience.
