Interventional Cardiologist - Parkland Health Center, Farmington, MO

We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join BJC Medical Group's growing cardiac service line at Parkland Health Center. The role is located in Farmington, MO, a suburb of St. Louis.

Preferred Qualifications

Board eligible or certified in interventional cardiology. Licensed physician. Experience 2-5 years preferred.

Role Purpose

Provide direct patient care within the specialty, complete medical records, manage MyChart consultations, collaborate with advanced practice providers and care team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage the medical care of the patient panel with inpatient hospital care and coverage coordination per medical staff bylaws
• Collaborate with patients, families and care team to ensure excellent outcomes at clinic and outreach locations
• Perform and document medical histories and physicals in the patient record per hospital bylaws
• Arrange or provide call coverage for clinic and inpatient patients in accordance with BJC policies and medical staff bylaws
• Teach advanced practice providers and support staff in the care of the patient panel
• Maintain a safety-sensitized posture and alertness required for this safety-sensitive position

Minimum Requirements

• Doctorate in Medicine
• Less than 2 years of experience
• No supervisor experience required
• Board eligible or certified in interventional cardiology
• Licensed physician
