Our client, a health informatics company who supply software to the healthcare, social care and education sectors are seeking an experiencedIntegration Engineer theirintegration projects.

The successful candidate will be delivering API's, Integration Information Viewers (eg HIE, EMIS etc.), ADT, HL7 FHIR messaging etc. and will work under the direction of Project Managers in conjunction with the InterOps/Hosting/Support teams and the customer & 3rd party vendors. The role with involve implementing on customer environments, supporting testing and go-lives.

Skills experience required for Integration Engineer role:

  • Experience interfacing within clinical applications
  • Experience of using integration engines
  • Experience of working with API's
  • HL7 Messaging
  • FIHR messaging
  • Possess a strong background in MS SQL Server
  • Confident in handwriting SQL queries to read and manipulate data
  • Able to utilise SQL Server Profiler to investigate issues
  • Confident handling databases (backups, restores, scheduled jobs etc.)
  • Good understanding of web-based technologies and Server Side architecture (IIS)
  • Experience of working on Windows Servers whilst carrying out investigations

  • Experience of reviewing and analysing log files to resolve issues
  • Confident using analysis tools such as Fiddler and Wireshark
  • Basic understanding of Internet protocols, Switches, Firewalls and Routers

  • Experience of setting up and working within VPNs
  • Excellent technical problem-solving techniques
