Network Engineer

A brand new and exciting role has just arisen for an experienced Network Engineer (3rd Line Support) to join a leading charity based in Islington, Central London. As the Network Engineer (3rd Line Support) you will know all things Cisco including Cisco network hardware, Cisco wireless, Cisco prime, Cisco storage area networking, checkpoint, juniper Firewalls & more. This is a great chance for someone to work for a leading charity that have a brilliant working environment whilst still getting the chance to learn new skills and develop your career.

As the Network Engineer (3rd Line Support) you will be expected to have an understanding of LAN and WAN while also having the opportunity to learn SAN administration. The Network Engineer (3rd Line Support) will be involved in large scale projects involving everything networking. Working for a leading charity as the Network Engineer you will be working closely with a number of senior stakeholders and be crucial in the development of the charities network environment.

Skills required for the Network Engineer are-

- Cisco certified
- Some understanding of LAN/WAN & Wireless networking
- Brilliant problem solving and analytical skills
- Great communication skills
