Agile Delivery Manager (Travel Platform) (Permanent)

Location: North London Country: UK Rate: £80k (up to 30% bonus and 7% Pension)
 

My client, a market-leading European tour operator, has major plans to redevelop its core holidays platform and is looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to work with the broader business to meet their needs and deliver a fantastic platform that will underpin a successful launch of the firm's new website later this year.

The successful Agile Delivery Manager will be able to lead teams of Business Analysts and manage stakeholders within the business/third party suppliers. They will also be able to carry out dynamic and engaging workshops with key stakeholders in order to define initial high-level scope, business priorities and manage the process of the project.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

  • A minimum of five years' experience operating as a Project Manager or Delivery Manager role in agile environments
  • Industry experience preferably within Travel or Holidays, running key strategic projects for high volume, predominantly B2C facing systems
  • Experience leading teams of Business Analysts and co-ordinating their activity
  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation.
  • Must be an experienced team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Experience working with and supporting the implementation of agile methodologies, in particular Scrum and scaled agile methodologies
  • Experience of Airline and Holiday Back Office Systems, such as Hotel Contracting, Pricing and Yield Management, Reservation Systems and data integration
  • Experience of prototyping solutions, using appropriate tools
