Analyst - Clinical Databases (Inside IR35)

Are you an experienced Analyst ready for a new challenge in a specialised Commissioning intelligence, informatics and analytics sector?

As Analyst (clinical databases) you will:

  • Be highly numerate and use a variety of analytical techniques to provide high quality, timely analysis of and intelligence relating to specialised services and their related Clinical Databases, Registries and Audits
  • Have an understanding of commissioning for value/variation based data analysis
  • Be adaptable when finding analytical solutions to problems, to analyse and triangulate data and intelligence in innovative ways and present findings clearly to a range of audiences
  • Be able to utilise a variety of data sources to build a coherent analysis relating to a given service areas and their related clinical databases - informed by clinicians and commissioners
  • Effectively utilise variation based analysis

You'll have:

  • Have an understanding of a range of data collection methods and analytical techniques, and their application to the NHS context
  • Have advanced knowledge of diverse information systems used in health
  • Display good knowledge of information management issues in a medical/scientific context
  • Have experience of either the NHS, other health related fields or health related
  • Demonstrate experience of co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments
  • Be experienced in managing risks and reporting

It would be great to also have:

  • Experience of monitoring budgets and business planning processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques and tools, such as Prince 2 Foundation and Microsoft Project
