Finance Manager (Permanent)

Finance Manager needed for a Gloabl Technology company in Berkshire!

£60,000 - £65,000 + Bonus and Benefits

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a global technology company in Berkshire! This role will involve providing finance support to the businesses Central Entities - primarily Overseas Direct. This role ensures the correct reporting of the Central Entities results, liaises with OpCos/Fin Ops/Finance Business Partners over the reporting, analysis and forecasting of the results of the business unit. The role ensures the full reconciliation of the Direct business unit and ensures that we regularly settle outstanding balances with the Operating Companies. This role is seen as a stepping stone into a hugely successful business, with someone ideally in the role for 18-24 months before moving on internally.

To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to have:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strategic thinker with functional and technical excellence.
  • Ability to think for yourself, see problems and think of a solution.
  • Experience with Financial Operations or technical accounting.
  • A global business background and ideally have worked with multiple currencies.
  • Skilled at managing relationships and conflicting priorities at a senior level.
  • Ability to understand and explain business performance.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.

A little more information about the role:

  • Provide Finance Manager support to the Central Entities.
  • Ensure the correct reporting of results, liaise with Operational Controllers, Finance Operation Managers and Finance Business Partners.
  • Full reconciliation of divisional results ensuring that the business regularly settles outstanding balances with the Operating Companies.
  • Accountable for producing accurate true up of Direct divisions, reconciling outstanding balances.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities and ensuring that these are correctly reported and acted upon.
  • Ensuring that the results of the business unit are understood and that any misreporting is resolved.
  • Accountable for liaising with regional business partners and where required, operating companies.
