Salary: Up to £55,000

Due to continued growth and expansion plans a leading designer and manufacturer of RF equipment in the Satellite industry are looking for a Quality Manager. As a Quality Manager you will drive forward the company's quality policies and procedures to ensure company requirements and standards are met. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to build a Quality team and add real value to the company.

Key Responsibilities of Quality Manager:

  • To manage, maintain and improve on the companies Quality standards.

  • To define short, medium and long term quality strategy and execute on that vision.

  • To comply with the ISO 9001 accreditation and satisfy applicable statutory, regulatory and company requirements.

  • To guide teams in identifying root causes and taking on corrective & preventative Actions to avoid re-occurrence in a methodological manner.

  • To ensure policies, procedures and compliance procedures are adhered to.

  • To implement QA and QC processes and procedures in the value stream.

  • Monitoring suppliers on delivery of quality products as well as dealing with non- compliant product from the suppliers.

  • Training staff on manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Responsible for all QA associated communication to include visits, discussions and improvement opportunities.

  • Ensure products leaving the company are of suitable quality.
