About the role

You will work within an analytical team providing the delivery of an efficient analytical service to customers. This will contribute to all aspects of safety, quality and environmental standards within the team. You will be required to comply with legislation and company policies and procedures to ensure appropriate standards are met for quality and safety. You will assist in the delivery of assigned programmes of work to support the overall delivery of analytical results to time and quality whilst complying with the laboratory quality management systems to support accreditation. As well as this you will assist with the validation of new and existing techniques and equipment prior to use to comply with quality systems.

This is a highly rewarding position working within a market leading nuclear engineering organisation. We support UK and international nuclear power stations with a range of services and strive to be best in class across our various contracts.

What do I need to do the role?

  • Science GCEs at grade A to C
  • Experience in analytical chemistry
  • Awareness of conventional and radiological safety

What else do I need to know?

  • The base location for this role will be Greeson Court Analytical Laboratory, Westlakes Science & Technology Park.
  • Successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
