2nd Line Support - Manchester

Key Skills: Microsoft, Active Directory, LAN, WAN, SQL, Office 365, Windows 2003, ITIL Foundation, Troubleshooting, Telephony, Hardware

2nd Line IT Technician with excellent troubleshooting skills in a Windows environment required for a global company in their state-of-the-art office in Central Manchester. The Successful IT Technician will be managing calls, escalating internally and externally when necessary and ensuring that issues are dealt with inside of SLA's and to the agreed standards

Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Managing desk/department moves
- Telephony support - both internal and mobile
- Reducing customers down-time, by use of work-arounds and ultimately solutions/fixes
- Ensuring major incidents are escalated
- Support of LAN/WAN

Key Requirements:

- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
- Experience supporting Active Directory & Microsoft Exchange
- LAN, WAN, SQL experience
- Troubleshooting experience, both hardware and software
- IT Service Desk experience
- ITIL Foundation (or working towards as a minimum)
