SAS Programmer - Clinical Studies - Work from Home/Cambridge (Contract)

Location: Cambridge Country: UK Rate: £50 - £65 per hour +
 

SAS Programmer - Late Phase (III and IV) clinical studies - Contract - Work from Home

My client a top Pharmaceuticals company are currently looking to recruit a SAS Programmer for Late Phase (III and IV) clinical studies to join its team on a 12-month contract basis. This contract can be a work from home contract with Cambridge as the office base when required for meetings and inductions etc. My client is seeking a SAS Programmer for Late Phase (III and IV) clinical studies, focused on Cardiovascular indications with an additional focus on Diabetes.

Key responsibilities for the SAS Programmer - Late Phase (III and IV) clinical studies:

*Support the clinical development process, including clinical development plans, regulatory submissions, commercialisation and scientific utilisation data.
.Deliver technical programming and information components of a project, including:
o Regulatory response to agency queries
o Periodic safety reports
o Investigators brochures (IB)
o Data submission strategy
.Generate and maintain Programming Specification documents and technical database standards
.Support to the regulatory submissions
.Improve The Methodology And Provide Practical Solutions For Problems

Qualifications and Experience for the SAS Programmer - Late Phase (III and IV) clinical studies:

.Relevant degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or life science is desirable
.Experience as a SAS Programmer/Programmer in the pharmaceutical/clinical/healthcare industry is essential
.Late Stage (Ph III/IV) programming experience is desirable
.Demonstrable knowledge/experience with CDISC standards and datasets (SDTM or ADaM)
.Submission experience
.Experience with Cardiovascular and/or Diabetes studies as a SAS Programmer is desirable but not essential.
