We are seeking a SQL DBA to join the Operations team for a leading Wealth Management company based in Central London.

You will have strong SQL DBA skills with 80% on Database and 20% Cloud focus. Core SQL is essential with interest and exposure to Azure and cloud automation, with a confident approach implementing new ideas.


We are working with one of UK's leading independent providers of discretionary wealth management. They offer aware-winning personalized wealth management services that meet the varied needs of over 100,000 account holders, including individuals, charities and pension funds.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in all aspects of database management with versions of MS SQL DBA server up to 2016 and beyond.

  • Data warehousing - SASS (Analysis Services in Azure preferable)

  • Administering, managing & maintaining very large databases (4TB+) requiring 24/7 availability.

  • ETL - SSIS (Data Factory preferable)

  • Experience working within a CI/CD environment, understanding automated DevOps release management pipelines & next generation tooling (VSTS,etc.)

Desirable Attributes

  • Good organisational and interpersonal Skills with the ability to work with other teams in order to understand requirements and provide guidance in relation to Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Ability to produce and maintain accurate documentation and operational reports.

  • Self-starter who has the ability and experience to set the technical direction
