Sales Manager (SaaS, SportsTech) (Permanent)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £40-45k + OTE £60-65k (uncapped)
 

Joining a growing SportsTech company based in central London you will be responsible for both generating & closing Sales as well as growing and managing a team of Sales Execs. The business has a production level SaaS platform which is sold as a Subscription based product within the Leisure sector.

The technology, ease of its use and ROI for it's clients is exceptional, making it a fantastic product to pitch and sell. More details will of course be provided upon initial conversations. You will have a Lead Generation specialist working with you from day 1, who will be tasked with opening up conversations and booking appointments for you to pitch, sell and close the deals.

The company are looking for a Sales Manager to run the UK sales team. The successful candidate will be highly driven, passionate and will have proven experience delivering against sales targets, reporting to senior management and putting together business strategies.

You will secure high value, industry leading partnerships and deliver against financial and non-financial targets. You will be a sales star who's experienced at closing new business and reporting directly to the CEO.

Their philosophy is to harness technology to eliminate any source of inconvenience that frustrates recreational players. Every feature introduced to the platform is designed to make sporting lives easier, and they are proud to have established a market leading position through their app and booking platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and win new prospects in order to deliver mutually beneficial, high value partnerships
  • Deliver strong revenue performance in-line with sales objectives and targets
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers and influencers within prospect companies, as well as the wider commercial sector.
  • Forecast, report and be accountable for accurate sales performance to senior management
  • Work collaboratively with the internal teams to explore opportunities across the business to deliver our over-arching strategy
  • Recruit a sales team that is capable of delivering sales targets and working towards the wider company strategy
  • Completing the sales process from lead to contract and post contract handover to CAM

You'll succeed by:

  • Bringing your experience at securing and managing high value partnerships in a commercial sales environment - preferably from the sports industry
  • Bringing your experience of building lasting effective relationships with high level
  • stakeholders
  • Demonstrating your ability to identify and close new opportunities
  • Demonstrating your experience at securing and attending face to face client meetings
  • Demonstrating your excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrating your sound business acumen.

There is a transparent, simple commission structure, based on very clear and achievable sales targets and the commission itself is uncapped.

The company are looking to pay £45k basic salary with a year 1 OTE of £60-65k. As you grow the team this will of course increase.
