* LEAD TEST MANAGER REQUIRED IN WELWYN GARDEN CITY*

Duration- 6 months

Hybrid working 2 days a week office based.

My client is a blue chip FMCG and retail brand that serve millions of customers every week from all over the globe. With over 6,000 stores internationally my client is a well-known household name that offer several exciting opportunities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Create, plan, manage and deliver testing activities on the Programme, including workload plans, and delivery milestones and key dependencies.

Develop and execute a comprehensive test strategy and test plan engaging up to 25 teams responsible for systems in the end-to-end business process all of which needs to be tested end to end.

Implement quality control measures to ensure that test execution are accurate, reliable, and meet business requirements.

Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of automation projects and provide ROI analysis.

Provide input to the generation of requirement specifications, agreeing that requirements are verifiable, complete, and traceable.

Participating in preparation of quality assessments, reports, and metrics formulating go-no go statement based on reports and metrics, test progress and defect status.

Responsible for defining and managing creation and approval of test data that will be valid across all 20 plus systems in the end-to-end business process.

Responsible for all Test, Test Tools development and configuration management activities

Experience, skills, and qualifications:

12+ years overall testing experience and 4+ years in test lead manager role able to engage many teams and lead them as a team to achieve a common goal - many teams will have numerous other priorities and this role needs strong leadership skills to deliver to a tight schedule in that Matrix organisation.

Strong experience on driving test strategy, detailed test plan, test cases design, test data management and full-cycle functional and non-functional execution for large-scale projects

Broad exposure across the STLC, creating Test Strategies with the appropriate coverage for each phase (SIT, UAT, OAT, Performance, Security)

Experience of having designed and implemented test frameworks on large scale programmes and enhancing existing test processes.

Solid track record of designing and analysing formal test metrics for enterprise applications.

Understanding the non-functional requirements of business.

Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps)

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams all of whom have other and different priorities eg bau and other projects

Experience in working with large-scale and complex integration programmes, including integrating 3rd party systems or components.
