Trade Customs Clerk - Import, Export
Based in Peterlee a Trade Customs Clerk with import and export experience is required on a 12 month contract to work for one of the world's leading manufacturers of off-highway machinery and diesel engines.
Hourly Rate: £22.10 Umbrella
3 days a week on site is non-negotiable. The remaining two days will be working from home once fully trained.
Skills
- 2+ years Import/Export Customs compliance experience.
- Customs experience in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
- Professional and strong communication skills - Relationship management with 3rd party service providers, HMRC, Technical Tax & Trade Central team, various business teams and support services.
- Able to work with different groups of people.
- Attention to detail is key for providing customs clearance instructions to brokers.
- Need to be strong with reconciliation skills.
- Any trade customs certifications would be a bonus.
