Development Technical Lead (Contract)

Location: Greenwich Country: UK Rate: £600 - £659 per day + Via Umbrella
 

Sanderson is working in partnership with a major Client in the UK. We are currently recruiting for Development Technical Lead to be London based out.

Job Title= Development Technical lead
Location = London
Duration= 12 Months Initially
IR35 Status: Inside

Role:

  • The Development Technical Lead is responsible for driving the technical design and implementation within an Agile team, working on the development and maintenance of bespoke software which complies with architecture standards, design principles and coding standards.
  • The role holder will provide technical direction, during the creation of high- and low-level technical designs and during software development and testing.
  • The role holder is a subject matter expert in the software technologies relevant to the Agile team.

Knowledge:

  • Expert knowledge of object-oriented best practices and software design patterns, how they are used to deliver robust systems in .NET or Java platforms.
  • Expert knowledge of software architectures for web sites, Back Office transactional systems and workflow engines.
  • Expert in configuring off the shelf systems/software to minimise customisation.
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of planning and management tools and techniques, with an emphasis on Agile development.
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of relevant industry standards, such as security, and PCI DSS
