A growing, Private Equity backed, company is looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis manager. This is a role for someone who wants to bring change, someone who has an eye for detail and who will take the division in question to new heights of growth. With a turnover of close to £1 Billion they are looking for someone who can manage a high pressure environment whilst developing a team to succeed.

Role:

• Building annual budgets and forecasts for different business units and consolidating into one master budget
• Analysing past financial performance, preparing competitor analysis, and examining market trends along with commentary for management
• Creating financial models to predict growth and forecast performance
• Monthly management accounts reporting
• Analysing previous budgets and forecasts and performing variance analysis to explain discrepancies
• Evaluating new and existing projects, investments, and assets to determine their validity and appraise their value
• Key relationship building with commercial side of business (work with Exec team across B2C and B2B Operations)
• Support Finance Director with ad hoc tasks when required

Person

• Ambitious individual who wants career progression in a fast-growing global group
• Record of strong academic achievement
• Qualified Accountant (eg ACA)
• Effective Excel skills
• A self-starter with the drive, determination and commitment to get things done
• 'Can do' attitude with a problem-solving approach to new challenges
• Ability to handle large data sets, work under pressure and to deadlines with the capacity to multi-task over several on-going projects
• High aptitude on systems
• Understanding of ability to work in a PE environment in a results driven organisation
