The main purpose of this role is to work collaboratively with Head of Town Planning and Planning and Community Managers to deliver and implement the companies Town & Country (T&C) Planning and Community Consultation policies, processes and governance. You will provide technical support to relevant Customer teams, teams and suppliers to maximise planning consent delivery across multiple programs. Supplier management is key.

You will drive LPA engagement at a site specific and strategic level, assist with site selection/design advice and attend MSVs etc as necessary.

Relationship building and strategy with LPAs, 'Digital Champions' and local stakeholders will be a key part of the role. You will be required to take pro-active ownership of delivery workstreams and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to drive strategy and relationships with LPAs and other local stakeholders, influence local and regional telecommunications policy/guidance to provide a positive policy environment for telecommunications development (Barrier Busting Initiatives) to assist in maximizing Planning delivery.

You will be the point of escalation for suppliers on planning issues and provide a Consultancy role on key town planning and community issues as and will provide upward reporting on the progress of key programs to the Head of Town Planning and Planning and Community Managers.

You must be self-motivated, flexible (working from home/office and ability to travel to site and/or LPA offices/stakeholder meetings etc), pro-active and enjoy taking responsibility.
