Remote SAP ABAP/Fiori Developer - Outside IR-35

Duration: 6 months Contract

Location: Remote

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP/Fiori Developer with extensive experience to join our team on a remote basis for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in ABAP development, Fiori/UI5 development, and a deep understanding of SAP technologies. Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance ABAP programs, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF), using best practices and following coding standards.
• Design, develop, and customize Fiori/UI5 applications to meet business requirements, ensuring an intuitive and user-friendly experience.
• Utilize advanced ABAP techniques such as CDS, AMDP, Code Push Down, and Calculation Views to optimize performance and enhance system efficiency.
• Implement and extend SAP Fiori elements and create custom Fiori/UI5 applications as needed.
• Leverage SAP RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model) for building domain-driven, enterprise-grade applications.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards, including authorization, authentication, and cloud security protocols.
• Utilize Eclipse IDE for development tasks and proficiently handle SAP Notes implementation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
• Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, to convey technical concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in SAP ABAP development, with expertise in RICEF objects and OOPs concepts.
• Strong proficiency in Fiori/UI5 development, including building custom applications and extending Fiori elements.
• In-depth knowledge of ABAP development techniques such as CDS, AMDP, Code Push Down, and Calculation Views.
• Experience with SAP RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with SAP extensibility concepts, both classical and new, including OData services.
• Solid understanding of SAP security principles, including authorization, authentication, and cloud security.
• Proficiency in Eclipse IDE for SAP development tasks.
• Ability to implement SAP Notes effectively and efficiently.
• General understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with global teams.
