An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an innovative and well-known organisation within the Maritech sector.

As the new Senior Data Engineer you will be working with data engineers & analysts to problem solve, build & deliver data products from ideation to production.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and owning the full life cycle of data engineering deliverables.
  • Delivering complex data flows to process external data sources to provide the company with a competitive edge.
  • Acting as a consultant to the business to meet their needs.
  • Maintaining existing data products to ensure reliability and high data quality to maximise the utility of data within the business.
  • Innovation by recommending opportunities to improve data engineering tooling, frameworks & process.
  • Mentoring and providing guidance to more junior colleagues.

Key skills required:

  • Proven experience within a Data Engineering role
  • Databricks
  • SQL
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Python
  • Proven experience with Datamodelling techniques such as Kimball, Data Vault etc.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

This role will be hybrid working with 2 - 3 days expected to be worked in the London office.
