Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team, specifically focusing on a product control project.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse product data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

  • Develop models and algorithms to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

  • Utilize SQL and Python to manipulate, analyze, and visualize data effectively.

  • Design and implement data mining techniques to discover actionable insights.

  • Develop dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of product control processes, proposing improvements where necessary.

Desired Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst, preferably in a product control or financial services environment.

  • Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in statistical modelling and data mining techniques.

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and querying from relational databases.

  • Experience with Python programming for data analysis and Scripting.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of financial products and markets.

  • Experience with regulatory reporting requirements in the financial industry.

  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques.

  • Exposure to cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Azure.
