Senior Commercial Procurement Specialist (Contract)

Location: Culham, Abingdon  Country: UK Rate: Excellent Day Rate
 

We are looking for a Senior Commercial Procurement Specialist to work within the nuclear sector.

Location: Hybrid working - Culham, Abingdon

About the role: You will be responsible for managing the pipeline of Procurement activities; Contracts Register and Commercial Continuous Improvement Framework to support the annual budget process working closely with key stakeholders.

Essential Skills: The ideal candidates will hold Active SC clearance and have a proven Senior Commercial Procurement Specialist background, with the following skills/experience:

  • Experience of defining procurement strategies to support project objectives.
  • Experience in developing effective procurement strategies and managing commercial matters in accordance with Government Policy.
  • Experience of successfully negotiating and managing complex contracts with an advanced understanding of prevailing procurement law and Government regulation.
  • Experience of drafting robust commercial contracts and develop Contract management toolkits and transition these to BAU.
  • Experience of training and mentoring professional staff.
  • Experience of working within the nuclear. (Desirable)
