Technical Lead (Permanent)
Location: City of London Country: UK Rate: Up to £120k per annum
 

Technical Lead - London - Hybrid - up to £120K DOE

Henderson Scott is exclusively partnered with a well known Financial Services company to recruit a Technical Lead Developer to join their team in London.

We are looking for modern Java Development experts who are also experienced with Angular/React to join the company. The purpose of the role will be to deliver a range of software products to support the businesses number one strategic focus.

Role Responsibilities

  • Understand software development requirements.
  • Workflow analysis and processing of data.
  • Development of software solutions for the businesses Global Markets division.
  • Much of the work is green field so there will be an expectation to innovate.

Desired Experience

  • Use of modern development practices to develop Java software components. Scrum based SDLC. Monitoring and automation of the processes.
  • Use of Front End Technologies like Angular or React.
  • Experience with Java 11+, Kafka, Docker/Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Multithreading, Concurrency.
  • Experienced with Messaging Systems.
  • Knowledge of Global Markets would be beneficial.
  • Expert in Secure REST interface design and build.
  • The ability to present and defend solutions and good communications skills.
  • Managing deadlines and conveying information on risks and blockers to the project manager.
  • Resolve blockers when presented to the team or find an owner who can resolve them.
  • Architecture principles.
