Oracle Database Administrator (SAP HANA) (Permanent)
Location: Oxfordshire Country: UK Rate: £64k - £70k per annum
 

Maxegan Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator with SAP Hana experience for a great permanent opportunity to join a leading client.

Within the role, you will be responsible for administering the SAP Oracle/HANA DB environments, troubleshooting, and providing system-level guidance/solutions.

Duties include:

  • Support Oracle 19c, HANA DB 2.0, and future upgrades and patching.
  • Maintain SQL/PLSQL processes.
  • Proactively manage and maintain security standards and controls.
  • Take ownership of performance and capacity monitoring aspects of the DB.
  • Execution of data migration jobs and scripts as required.
  • Assist the infrastructure team in sizing hardware used for the DB.
  • Support and collaborate with product developers.
  • Ensure database backups are appropriately executed.
  • Determine and document DB policies, procedures, and standards.

For this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years' experience in Oracle Database Administration
  • Experience/or working knowledge of the SAP HANA Database is highly desirable.
  • Operating system experience in Windows, Linux and AIX
  • Oracle management tool RMAN
  • Partitioning.
  • Ideally Oracle DB Professional (OCP) Certified
