Backend Developer (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK
 

Backend Developer - London (hybrid) - 28 month contract

One of our public sector clients requires a Senior Backend Developer to join their team as part of an on-going project.

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • Expert knowledge of developing integrated Back Office solutions using Microsoft Development technologies.
  • Proven experience working with agile practices.
  • Expert with the following tech:
    • C# .NET/C# .NET Core
    • TDD, Object Orientated Design, Clean Code Techniques
    • GIT version control
  • Azure cloud technologies including:
    • API Manager, Active Directory
    • Functions, Service Bus
    • SQL Server, CosmosDB, Storage
    • Azure DevOps
    • App Insights
    • Azure DevOps pipelines and Bicep.
  • Experience working on large volume Back Office transactional systems.
  • Experience working on payment processing systems (card payments, authorization, and settlement processes)
  • Knowledge of direct debit mechanisms and recurring payments.

This is a 28-month contract based in London. Our client operates a hybrid model and requires you to be onsite 2 days per week. Competitive day rate (inside ir35).
