Harvey Nash is delighted to be working exclusively with our client to appoint their new IT Manager for their Scottish HQ. This is an exciting role to join as the new manager of a small, specialist IT team supporting a wider user base of circa 450 people across multiple sites in Scotland.

We're looking to hear from current IT Managers with experience across an on-prem, multi-functional IT estate. We are specifically looking for people with full line management of a small team, including personal development, appraisals etc.

Previous experience working with 3rd party outsourced services for a similar SME business is also essential as is previous experience of delivering a Technology road-map company wide.

From a Technology perspective you will have extensive experience of overseeing core service across Windows infrastructure, security (Cyber and ISO) and off the shelf software solutions.

You will also have experience of managing a budget of up to £500k and be comfortable working at all levels across the business.

The requirement for strong communication skills is an absolute must as you could be working to Board level and with external suppliers on a weekly basis.

Whilst the role is based in Fife, they are happy with some flexibility of on site work so the wider Central Belt of Scotland is absolutely fine as you can work remotely with some on site presence.
