Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Storage) - Inside IR35

Contract Term: 9 Months

Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Cardiff)

Description:

You will help support and develop the existing Companies House Storage and Backup infrastructure ensuring availability, performance and resilience to meet Companies House corporate targets. You will also be involved in the migration and subsequent support of Companies House services to Cloud.

Technical skills required:

• Netapp Cloud Volumes OnTap.
• Netapp Fabric/Switched Metro Cluster.
• Netapp Cluster.
• Netapp 7 Mode HA Pairs.
• Veritas NetBackup.
• Dell Data Domain.

Experience required:

• Ability to maintain, upgrade and provision storage on the above technologies:
  • This includes atto bridges, brocade switches and using Service Processors.
• Knowledge of Netapp tools:
  • Unified Manager, XCP, 7 Mode Transition Tool.
• Knowledge of configuring Cisco MDS SAN switches.
• Installing, upgrading and maintaining NetBackup on Master and Media servers.
• Upgrading and maintaining Dell Data Domains.
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix/Windows systems.
