Ink Search are currently representing a Global FTSE 100 mining company based in the UK. Our client are focussed on a number of global initiatives to drive visualisation around ESG, Provenance, Traceability, Ethicality, Carbon footprint across their product base (base and precious metals, LNG, Hydrogen, Agri Products), and to create a recycle/reuse electronic market place to ensure that their clients (huge Chemical, Automotive, Manufacturing, Shipping, Supply Chain firms) have access to all the data they need to enhance and support their product purchasing decisions, support their ethicality agenda and broad net Zero ambitions. In order to achieve these goals, they have created a Digital Hive with the client's Sales and Trading business division and are redesigning the way in which they interact with their customers - both the data they provide to their customers but also the full deal to cash life cycle and the systems used to facilitate these processes. They have hired a number of Data Scientists, BA's, Data Engineer's and Developers and are looking for a Principal Solution Architect to lead the design of the software solution(s) that enable this agenda. Its an excellent opportunity.

The role will be responsible for the Solution Architecture around the Sales and Trading focussed Deal to Cash application architecture that both integrate with their trading estate, their Front Office teams and the other areas of the wider business. The role will focus on how modern software can enhance the sales proposition to their external clients and figure out how the client can introduce advanced tools and technologies (Data Science, Machine Learning, Blockchain etc) to these solutions in order to drive long term customer value. They are working at the bleeding edge of the market.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Solution or Enterprise Architect. You will have a deep technical background in all things Microsoft; their stack is C#, .NETCore, Angular, Azure, Data Factory, Data Bricks, Kubernetes, CI/CD in a Microservices, Cloud native environment. You'll have experience designing and building customer facing architectures, customer portals, electronic market places - preferably within a Financial Services, Investment Banking or Bulk Commodities setting. You'll also demonstrate strong Stakeholder management skills and have an interest in innovation and modern technologies beyond your day to day job.
