*Inside IR35 - 3 days a week onsite*

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and Node.js development, as well as extensive experience with MongoDB. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the Server Side of our web applications and ensuring optimal performance of our database.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable Server Side applications using Java and Node.js
  • Implement robust Api's and services to power web applications.
  • Design and manage database schemas with MongoDB
  • Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale by maintaining code quality and system health.
  • Collaborate with Front End developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
  • Participate in all phases of the development life cycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Perform code reviews and enhance existing applications to improve performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Java and Node.js programming languages.
  • Strong experience with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Front End languages (eg, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS).
  • Excellent understanding of Server Side logic and high performance.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
