Stott & May are partnering with a prestigious global law firm poised for expansion. They are seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, playing a pivotal role in safeguarding their operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Job Title: Senior Cyber Security Engineer (Global)
Location: City of London - hybrid working (3 days onsite and 2 days remote)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £80K-90K Plus Excellent Package
Key Responsibilities:
- Voice and resolve all security risks effectively, ensuring the integrity of the systems and data.
- Stay well-informed of industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to Cyber Security, continually enhancing their defensive capabilities.
- Develop and implement robust security policies, procedures, and standards to protect company assets and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the development life cycle, ensuring adherence to security requirements in new products and services.
- Implement adaptable security architecture to support the organisation's evolving business needs.
Skills and Experience: - Previous experience within Professional Services or Law Firms, understanding the unique security challenges within these sectors.
- Strong working knowledge of CEH and CISSP certifications
- Excellent understanding of the ISO 27002 standard, preferred for maintaining rigorous security protocols.
- Technical proficiency in cloud environments such as O365 and Azure, leveraging cloud security measures effectively.
- Extensive experience in a similar role, demonstrating a track record of successful security implementations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in cybersecurity principles.
