DevOps Engineer - Contract (6 months) Inside IR35 SC Eligible (Contract)

Location: Remote  Country: UK Rate: £550/day Inside IR35
 

Our client are a top tier consultancy looking for a DevOps Engineers - Contact to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, and manage cloud architectures for optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
  2. Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions.
  3. Provide expertise in cloud services from AWS, Azure, and GCP, selecting appropriate services for specific use cases.
  4. Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions into the application architecture.
  5. Utilize source control systems, such as Git, for managing and versioning codebase.
  6. Implement and manage container orchestration solutions, including Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, and Openshift.
  7. Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab, etc.
  8. Scripting automation tasks using Bash, Perl, Python, or Go.
  9. Follow Agile methodologies and DevOps principles for efficient collaboration and continuous improvement.
  10. Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in cloud architecture and related technologies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Proficiency in Git and source control practices.
  • Experience with container orchestration solutions (Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, Openshift).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab, etc.
  • Scripting skills in Bash, Perl, Python, or Go.
  • Agile mindset and familiarity with DevOps principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
