*Front End Developer - UI & UX Design* (Contract)

Duration: 6 months (Possibility for Extension)

Location: Hybrid/London (3 days per week on site)

Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day rate or salary is available for suitable candidates

Summary

We are looking for a creative and skilled Frontend Developer with a passion for UX/UI design to create an engaging and visually appealing interface for our Real Time data visualization application. You will be responsible for designing and implementing the microfrontend architecture, ensuring an intuitive user experience, and collaborating with Back End developers to integrate the data pipeline into the Front End.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a modern, user-friendly interface for the Real Time data visualization platform.
• Implement the microfrontend architecture to create a modular and scalable Front End.
• Collaborate with Back End developers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure Real Time data flow to the UI.
• Use data visualization libraries and tools to represent complex data in an accessible and informative manner.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with user needs and business goals.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and refine the UX.
• Ensure responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility of the application.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for the Front End application.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends in Front End development and UX/UI design.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with a strong portfolio in UX/UI design.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern Front End frameworks (eg, React, Vue.js).
• Experience with microfrontend architecture and its implementation.
• Knowledge of data visualization libraries (eg, D3.js, Chart.js).
• Strong understanding of UX principles, design thinking, and user-centered design.
• Familiarity with Front End build tools and version control systems (eg, Webpack, Git).
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
