SITS Developer

SITS Developer who can help deliver the implementation of SITS as the new Student Record System (SRS). The successful appointee will work closely with the SRS team, specifically the Solution Architect, Business Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts, to help us design, plan, develop and deliver SITS solutions for new business processes aligned to both SITS Blueprints and Templates.

Essential requirements for this position will include:

Outside IR35 - mainly remote working occasional visit to client site in Plymouth

• Experience of analysing user requirements and designing suitable solutions within SITS that adhere to defined development standards. Considering supportability, accessibility, and user experience.
• Experience of using SITS System Tools to deliver end to end business processes.
• Production of technical documentation that supports the maintenance and future development of the solution.
• Experience of working with Subject Matter Experts, Business Analysts, Tribal Consultants to elicit and interpret requirements in the context of SITS functionality.
• Ability to estimate effort and to feed this into a planning process.
• Working with the Solution Architect to explore solution options and advising them to ensure a holistic solution is identified.
• Experience of investigating issues, then developing and deploying solutions.

Desirable requirements:

• Experience of working on a SITS implementation project.
• Experience of working with the Tribal SITS Blueprints and Templates methodology.
• Experience of developing SITS business process solutions in any of the following areas of SITS functionality:
• Student
• Assessment, Progression and Awards
• Statutory Returns
• Finance
