Development Technical Lead - Microsoft Technologies - Contactless Back Office
Development Technical Lead will have expert knowledge of designing, building, and enhancing integrated solutions using Microsoft Development Technologies.
Participate in Technical Governance Processes and work with all others as necessary within the project including the Senior Product Owner, Senior Test Analysts, Technical Delivery Leads, Solution Architects, and other stakeholders to establish an optimal solution which meets requirements, adheres to technical strategy/constraints and considers total cost of ownership. Accountable for the high-quality software output and appropriate supporting documentation.
The Team is expected to support the delivery of enhancements to the Contactless Back Office product area through development, testing, user acceptance, deployment to production and early life support, using their professional skills and expertise to plan and deliver all of the services for this statement of works under their own direction and control, but monitored by the Authority's appointed persons.
The Development Technical Lead will be expected to lead technical design decisions and contribute to planning and estimation of work required to achieve the Team deliverables.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to explain complex information with agile development teams, and stakeholders both technical and non-technical
Expert in industry standard development methodologies and tools
Expert in Design of high-volume Back Office Systems hosted on-premise
Expert in the following Technical Skills
C# .Net, C# .NET Core
MS SQL Server
TDD, Object Oriented Design, Clean Code Techniques
Experience deploying Microsoft Azure services using Azure DevOps Pipelines including Bicep
Demonstrable experience of working on high-volume complex transactional systems
