Platform Specialist (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: Up to £438 per day
 

Our client is looking for a Platform Specialist on an interim basis to ensure the day to day running of the Council production Servers, operating system, cloud environments, Office 365 collaboration applications.

Post title:Platform Specialist

Length:3 months (highly likely to extend)

Day rate: £438 inside IR35

Location: North London (twice a week on site)

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Security Compliance configuration and monitoring, including managing data protection requests. Installation of software and hardware.
  2. Maintaining and patching of the local M365/SCCM/InTune/AD/Azure environments.
  3. Provide in-depth analysis of report and escalation issues.
  4. Provide timely, consistent and quality administrative support for service users across the range of services, including Office 365, Azure, SCCM, InTune, SharePoint, Teams, PowerShell Scripting.
  5. Make recommendations on best practices for Microsoft technologies.
  6. Help manage changes in Microsoft 365/Azure, including developing and delivering training to staff.
  7. Create, upload, configure and index data/content on the SharePoint site, and ensure the site is administered in line with Council's policies and procedures.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  1. In-depth of understanding, a subject matter expert of Office 365, Windows Servicer Technologies, Exchange Online, Active Directory (AD), Azure AD.
  2. Basic understanding of Firewall and layer 3 networking.
  3. Production experience (circa 2000 plus users) in managing SCCM, InTune, EndPoint Manager and other end user device management technologies.
  4. Basic SharePoint development skills and experience in promoting Microsoft user collaboration tools within an organisation
  5. Previous experience within a local council is highly desirable
