Daily Rate: £600 - £700 (inside IR35 via umbrella)

Contract Length: 6 months initially

About Our Client:

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join their Institutional Credit Management (ICM) team. As part of the First Line of Defence for wholesale lending and counterparty credit risk, our client plays a vital role in ensuring best-in-class risk management and control capabilities. They are focused on driving a Citi-wide transformation in wholesale credit risk management, aligning business and regulatory goals.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence & Automation Lead Analyst to join our client's ICM Lending Transformation team. As the Business Intelligence & Automation Lead Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data analytics pipelines, designing data models, and creating automation tools using Scripting languages (eg, Python). You will collaborate with various teams across the organisation to enhance processes and technology, providing data management support to the Transformation team's initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Advise senior stakeholders on technology solutions for high-priority regulatory remediation initiatives.
Develop and maintain automated workflow tools.
Create and maintain a centralised SharePoint site and associated content for the overall transformation programme.
Support BAU reporting & analytics processes, including the ability to create different MI views at short notice for different stakeholders.
Respond rapidly to evolving requirements from management.
Support the transformation, risk, and control agenda/priorities for the larger team.
Collaborate with cross-functional peers to create, administer, track, and close projects.
Build tactical solutions in compliance with the organisation's technology control environment.

Qualifications:

10+ years of technical experience in a large enterprise environment.
Experience and proficiency in building data pipelines and performing analytics using KNIME (or similar software).
Strong proficiency with Scripting languages for automation & analytics purposes (eg, Python, R, JavaScript).
Experience creating team SharePoint sites and maintaining content for easy accessibility.
Proficiency with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) for Microsoft Office.
Proficiency with SQL and relational database management systems.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Significant experience building end-user tools with Microsoft Access.
Demonstrable experience or certification with technology control frameworks (eg, CRISC, CISA).
