Hardware Engineer (Contract)
Location: Glasgow, Glasgow City, Scotland Country: UK Rate: £200 per day
 

Hardware Engineer - SC Cleared - £200/day Inside IR35 - 5 month Contract - Glasgow Onsite (SCC FLEX CONTRACT)

We're seeking a Hardware Engineer (SC Cleared) for a 5-month contract in Glasgow. Join us in diagnosing and repairing laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.

Your responsibilities as Hardware Engineer:

  • Repair customer equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot computer issues.
  • Maintain repair records.
  • Conduct hardware break/fix (80%) and software troubleshooting.
  • Monitor for and prevent system issues.
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety procedures.

As a suitable Hardware Engineer, you will have:

  • Active SC Clearance (used in the last 12 months)
  • Experience with various hardware such as desktops, printers, laptops, and tablets.
  • Strong fault-finding skills.
  • Accurate data entry skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
