Location: Hybrid (London Based)

Duration: Rolling contract, initially 3 months

Rate: £550 per day, outside IR35

About the role:

Digital Skills is supporting a digital healthcare consultancy in recruiting for an Enterprise Data Architect on a contract basis. You will support their end clients with the strategy for digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement enterprise data strategies to support the digital transformation initiatives of healthcare organizations.
  • Lead the design and architecture of data solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Oversee technology teams, providing guidance and direction in the implementation of data projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and tools to enhance data capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in data management.
  • Provide expertise and guidance in data governance, data integration, and data quality management.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Lakes, Power BI, and Azure Databricks.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices and standards in data architecture and design.
  • Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of continuous learning and development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Data Architect, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong expertise in Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Lakes, Power BI, and Azure Databricks.
  • Experience in SAP.
  • Solid understanding of data architecture principles, data modelling techniques, and data management practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
