Data Engineer - Python/API - Walsall (Permanent)

Location: Brownhills, Walsall Country: UK Rate: £40k - £45k per annum
 

Data Engineer - Python/API - Walsall

Hybrid role - 1 day on site per week

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Data Engineer required for a leading client based in Walsall, to join the Development and Solutions team to develop full technical specifications, prototypes, and software as well as leading integration development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Python/Java Script programming languages, as well as APIs and Azure Data Factory.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

  • Extensive Middleware development experience, including APIs
  • Modern Middleware experience (eg ADF, Mulesoft, Informatica, Apigee and App integration)
  • Strong experience using modern cloud based solutions to support data migration/integration processes
  • Extensive experience surrounding Python/Java Script programming languages
  • Collaborate with the Business and Solutions Team to define the scope of work requests and identify development needs
  • Oversee the execution of development tasks, ensuring that the responsibilities assigned to you are finished on time, while maintain the quality standards and procedures.
  • Work closely with the support and test team to ensure all solutions are suitable, thoroughly tested and can be effectively supported.
  • Review, analyse and suggest solutions that align with our design philosophy
