Global IT Solutions Company requires a suitably experienced DBA/Data Architect with strong focus on AWS RDS, MariaDB and cloud-based data storage solutions.

This role is NOT a core DBA role, you will have strong AWS RDS & MariaDB skills & experience and focus on performance optimisation

DBA/Data Architect - AWS RDS - MariaDB

Location: Remote Working/London

Contract Length: 2 Months

Day Rate: Negotiable Day Rate - Inside IR35

Key Skills & Experience

Ideally you will have at least five years of experience working as a Database Administrator (DBA), with a strong focus on AWS RDS, MariaDB and cloud-based data storage solutions such as Simple Storage Service (S3) and DocumentDB.

Demonstrate expertise in database security, backup solutions, and performance optimization, as well as proficiency in relational database management, with a keen analytical mindset for problem-solving.

Analyze database performance, including query optimization, schema refinement, and managing data storage solutions, with a focus on performance optimization.

Establish continuous monitoring and alerting mechanisms to detect and address database performance issues proactively, ensuring system reliability and efficiency.
