The Client: Curo Resourcing Limited is currently seeking a motivated, diligent, and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our dynamic team. This presents an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking company that fosters a collaborative, friendly, and progressive work environment. As a new member joining our small and efficient team, you will receive excellent training and all the necessary tools to excel in your role.
The role is based in the dedicated and well-equipped home office of our Financial Controller, so while experience with remote work is beneficial, it is not essential. Once fully functional in the position, there may be the opportunity to work ad hoc days from home too, although we can only consider candidates who are commutable Llandysul.
The Candidate: This role would suit a detail orientated Finance Assistant/Administrator, who would like to progress into Payroll. We are looking for a confident and friendly communicator, as the role will include regular liaison with our candidates and contractors, so good rapport building ability is a must. Previous awareness of Payroll is advantageous, but we have great systems and processes in place, which will be easy to pick up for a systems savvy candidate. Familiarity with Sage software would be advantageous, although training can be provided in this area.
The Role: This role includes general Payroll administration, and once fully trained you will be processing Payroll for our PAYE Contractors. This role offers lots of variety, and the opportunity to hone your Payroll ability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll administration.
- Processing timesheets.
- Invoice processing.
- Updating our accounts system and spreadsheets.
- Providing candidates with PAYE illustrations (once trained).
- Distribution of payslips.
- Dealing with Payroll enquiries, over the phone and via email.
- Regular reporting.
- Processing payments.
To be successful in this role you will need a motivated can do' attitude. You will also require up to date systems and software skills, including a proficient working knowledge of Excel. Excellent attention to detail, with good maths and numerical skills are essential. This position would suit a candidate who is able to adapt to working within a small team. Due to the size of the Accounts department, we are looking for a friendly candidate who will be a good team fit.
