Atlassian Application Support Engineer (Contract)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: Excellent Day Rate
 

We are looking for a Atlassian Application Support Engineer to work within the public sector.

Location: Hybrid working - London or East Kilbride

About the role: You will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and development of our Atlassian Data Centre.

Essential Skills:

The ideal candidates will hold Active SC clearance and have a proven Atlassian Application Support background, with the following skills/experience:

  • Experience in the Atlassian Data Centre administration, configuration and support of Jira and Confluence.
  • In-depth Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence configuration and workflow changes.
  • Experience of upgrading Atlassian Data Centre configurations and resilient infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian architecture, focusing on JIRA, Jira Service Management and Confluence with a deep understanding of modularised workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes.
  • Knowledge of using Jira REST API or other REST based web services. (Desirable)
  • Experience of Linux server support and configuration as well as command line troubleshooting utilities. (Desirable)
